The Road To Your Career

The Automotive Pathway gives students the opportunity to repair, build, and work on cars in an effort to jumpstart their automotive career. Students gain hands-on experience working with brake systems, heating and cooling systems, engines, electrical systems, steering systems, and transmissions. In general, they learn how to install, maintain, repair, and replace automotive parts. This integrated, immersive, and work-based learning gives students experience while also teaching them the latest in automotive technology. This pathway imparts knowledge that will help them prepare for college as well as their careers – providing students with a competitive advantage in the job market. Automotive students also earn numerous certifications through NC3, which give them a competitive edge in the job market.

Career Pathways help students explore their talents and use their experiences in the classroom to help select career paths they’re passionate about.
