Ballot for a Class

It's time to plan your courses for next year. If you have any questions about CTE classes please see your counselor or talk to a CTE teacher. Our website may also answer your questions.

CTE classes offer the following:

  • Real-world, hands-on experience
CTE classes aren’t just textbooks and tests. You get to do the work—using industry tools, working on real projects, and learning skills you’ll actually use in a job or career.

  • Explore careers before you commit
CTE lets you try out a career path in high school. You can figure out what you love (or don’t!) before spending time and money in college or training later.

  • College and career advantage
Many CTE courses offer certifications, internships, job shadowing, or dual enrollment. That means you graduate with experience, connections, and skills that make you stand out to colleges and employers.
